TING-JIA ZHANG
Jian Kang Road Lotus Center Modular Facade System

Since 2023, Ting-jia Zhang has served as a collaborative expert at the circular design startup C-Cube, where he has maintained an ongoing partnership with JUN-EN Enterprise Corp. in the field of metal fabrication. Together, they have developed various design prototypes for the application of post-processed metal products in architecture and design. The development list is as follows:

[1] Modular and reversible solutions for perforated metal sheets in architecture and interior design.
[2] Modular and reversible solutions for expanded metal mesh in architecture and interior design.
[3] Modular and reversible solutions for spot-welded wire mesh in architecture and interior design.
[4] Solutions for gabion units in architecture and interior design.
[5] Modular solutions for the application of post-processed metal products in building facades.
[6] Solutions for the application of post-processed metal products in furniture and furnishing.
[7] Specialized coating applications for post-processed metal products.
[8] The relationship between hidden structural lines in building facades and urban textures.
[9] Service design integration for front-end and back-end applications of post-processed metal products.
[10] Research on the application of post-processed metal products in multi-layered facades.

The primary research focus of this project is the application of the 'expanded metal mesh frame system' to modular building facades.

The primary research focus of this project is the application of the expanded metal mesh frame system to modular building facades. In the geometric research process of the facade design, this study utilizes LLM-based conversational AI for geometric exploration and employs a facade generator to output Python RhinoScript, thereby generating the facade within the Rhino NURBS environment.
