Testing the Boundaries
After 10 PM in Taipei, the heat gradually fades. Walking out of Exit 2 of the Xiangshan Station, I put on my headphones to review the details of the exhibition music. The stories shared by each interviewee are as gentle and delicate as whispers in my ear, telling you different life stories.
In the past, I experienced the joy of participatory art through intuition. Now, I use a wider lens to observe how I enter the site and, conversely, how others enter it. The process of experiencing love is sometimes like dark clouds and sometimes like warm sunlight.
I want to gently tell you that you are welcome here. You can sit down and listen, quietly touch, or watch from near or far. It is worth borrowing fifteen minutes of your life to feel how your heart embraces "the other" who is strange yet familiar.
