Reviewing the whole architectural design education process, as one of the advisors in the freshman year of the department of architecture at National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan. I am wondering whether there is a method for students to pre-experiencing the design process of conventional or classical architectural design methods. With the inspiration of John Evarts’s study of the relationships between musical notation and graphic art, the new mode of expression and technique of communications could be a bridge to connect different knowledge domain. In this Article, the writer will break down the common method of notation and the design practice from the studio to illustrate the possible relationship between consciousness, symbolization, personalities, and typology of notations generated by students.
