This residence uses white, gray, and light oak textures as the main tones. By matching low-saturation colors with natural wood textures, we create a clean, stable, and warm space. The color strategy controls contrast and material types, so the visual layers stay quiet and not boring.
The core of the space is a "house within a house" structure made of light oak wood. This structure creates a private and safe area in the open floor plan. The owner can relax on the bed and watch shows with a projector, letting their mind and body rest in the warm wood environment after busy work. Wood materials provide not only visual warmth but also a sense of security and belonging.
The public space faces a large intersection. Considering the outside view and function, we use large curved beams as the main design language. We hide the air conditioning equipment inside them to keep the style consistent. At the same time, we use careful woodwork on the large curves to prevent cracking. This ensures the structure and materials stay stable for a long time.
In addition, the public space uses light oak door-shaped structures to hide the heavy beams. By combining the doors and structures, the beams become part of the design instead of a visual burden. The overall design meets the owner’s hope for a warm, simple, and peaceful life. By using a minimalist style, we combine furniture and custom decoration to create a natural and stable living scene.
